The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is home to a beautiful diversity of ferns. Join Albany Pine Bush Preserve Botanist Jesse Hoffman for a morning walk along the banks of the Hunger Kill and learn about ferns and fern identification. We will start at the DiCaprio Park trailhead (#11) and follow the purple trail in search of ferns.

Trailhead #11 DiCaprio Park
Directions from the Discovery Center to DiCaprio Park Trailhead (#11): Head straight across the intersection at the end of the Discovery Center Driveway (northwest) down Old State Road for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto E. Lydius Street. DiCaprio Park will be on the left. The trailhead is to the back of the middle parking lot.
